Hey, I’m Genevieve!
I’m a southern girl, exercise enthusiast (ish), sweets lover (no ish on this one), and mom of 3.
I’m a big fan of all things cozy. Big blankets. Rocking chairs. Fluffy pillows.
I’ve spent the last 10 years writing content within the wellness industry. Before that I was a teacher. Before that a photographer’s assistant, swim instructor, lifeguard, retail manager. The works. Now I do a bunch of that at the same time.
I love musicals, sports, ice cream, live shows, and old TV.
I don’t know what I’m doing most of the time. I just do it anyway, stress over it, and hope for the best.
I’m a huge procrastinator. Like, it’s a problem.
I have the best husband on the planet.
I also write about life in the South on my substack. Expect irreverence on occasion.
I love super hot showers. Like if it’s not burning my skin, I don’t want it.
I’m a recovering people pleaser. Heavy on the recovering.
I’m always looking for book recommendations. Always. It might sit on my nightstand for months, but send me all the recommendations.
I feel like a walking contradiction because I really do love the South and I really do hate the South. I am both sassy and sensitive. I do not understand myself, and I do not expect you to understand me either.
I analyze and reanalyze everything to death. And then I revive it and analyze it again.
I constantly assume people don’t like me. Like right now. I assume you, dear Reader, do not like me. And this is how I feel in real life, too.
I’m honestly way too sensitive for the internet, but here I am anyway.
I’m glad you’re here! I hope you stick around a while!
